About Me
I design things. I make things.
I’m a creative designer with a passion for turning ideas into designs and, ultimately, physical products. I’ve been involved in graphic design since studying eMedia and Creative Technologies at college and university, and I’ve continued developing my skills through professional, freelance and personal projects.
My design experience covers a wide range of creative work, including branding, logo design, digital artwork, web design, illustration, video and personalised products. I particularly enjoy projects where I can take an idea from an initial concept through to a finished product.
Alongside my design work, I run my own small online business creating personalised vinyl decals and garments. I design and prepare the artwork myself, cut and weed the vinyl, press garments and fulfil customer orders. I also experiment with other garment decoration techniques, including sublimation, and enjoy exploring different ways of turning digital artwork into physical products.
I’m naturally interested in technology and enjoy learning how new tools and processes can be used creatively. I have experience with 3D printing and enjoy designing, preparing and producing physical objects from digital ideas. I’m always interested in experimenting with new software, equipment and production techniques and finding ways to improve the way I work.
This hands-on approach has given me a real appreciation for the relationship between design and production. Creating something that looks good on screen is only part of the process — I enjoy figuring out how a design needs to be prepared, adapted and produced to achieve the best possible finished result.
Outside of design and technology, I’m passionate about DJing, music production, illustration and travelling. I’m always looking for new inspiration, new skills to learn and new ways to turn ideas into something tangible.
